Monolux is a boutique production company founded by Robin Sung. We are inspired by ideas and specialise in collaborating and making short form executions for any platform.
In the spirit of reconciliation, Monolux acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community. We pay our respect to their Elders past and present and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples today.
Robin Sung
Robin is an experienced short form Director whose rich cultural background, encompassing Taiwan, New Zealand and Australia has influenced his creativity and perspective.
Based in Sydney he has collaborated with many of Australia’s top creatives crafting TVC’s and content for brands such as VISA, Campbell’s, Cancer Council, Breville and Pernod Ricard.
Robin is an emotive storyteller who is comfortable directing both actors and non-actors. His considered and thoughtful approach to filmmaking brings to the screen stunning visuals and authentic performances. Robin’s a team player and big believer in creatively partnering with his clients to bring their briefs to life and finding them innovative solutions throughout the production process.
In both his professional and personal life, as a proud father of two spirited hadoukens Robin has a strong sense of social responsibility – so purposeful storytelling has a strong appeal and something that he’s always keen to get involved in.
